Testing new Adobe Flash now called Adobe Animate
All the time, I see amazing flash animations, so I was curious about trying the new version of Adobe Flash, now called Adobe Animate, while studying the timing and the shape of liquid forms.
Furthermore, I wanted to try to doing an Animated illustration in Flash as I saw from a really good artist ( Jonathan Stroh ) who does a kind of illustration like this.
As always, I was wondering how to achieve something similar but with my own style, so I took one of my holiday sketches and I did this Animation.

Animation Exercises
As researching for my trip to Annecy, I came across with a showreel from a Gobelins student, showing some assignments that they do at school. I realised that I can learn a lot about animation by doing some of those exercises. Therefore, because I had two free weeks before starting second year at UWE , I decided to study on my own some of those exercises.

Undulation / Wave Motion
I watched a lot of times the exercise and I realised that to understand better the wave I should do a 2D view instead of jumping directly into a 3D perspective view, so I did Koi Carp flag called originally in Japanese Koinobori.
Perspective 3D wave
Once I understand how the wave works, I moved into the perspective; first with the lines on the background, then with the lines of the wave, and then I did a little sketch of a whale.
